Patriarical Blessing for Elizabeth Anderton Shipley

The blessing is in long hand and very hard to read.

February 24, 1858 (or 1854)

A blessing by John Smith Patriarch upon the head of Elizabeth Shipley daughter of John & Nancy Anderton born Lancashire England December 22, 1828. I lay my hands upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ and confer upon you the blessing of a father that you up against the powers of darkness you shall be blest with power to heal the sick in your house & among you. That you shall have wisdom to conduct all your affairs in the best possible manner & to council your (?) wisely - your family shall increase like Jacob & extend them (?) to the ends of the earth. You shall live to see the (?) of (?) of this generation, see your Redeemer and converse with him face to face and enjoy all the blessings and (?) of his kingdom with all your fathers house for you are of the house of Joseph. Even so, Amen.
